We're Coming For You!

That was the message of the new political force on Queensland's political landscape.

Member for Dalrymple and Australian Party candidate Shane Knuth said it was a powerful launch with the media and even mining magnate Clive Palmer acknowledging the fledgling party is a force to be reckoned with.
Mr Knuth said he was proud to stand by 60 other candidates.

'We're not a party of lawyers with degrees' he said 'we are passionate Queenslanders from all walks of life who care about our state and country.'

'We are different from the major political parties, we are up front and to the point.'

'The two major parties say they have policies but we have a plan to return this state back to it's former glory.'

An economic plan that will drive the Queensland economy was unveiled at the conference including a massive expansion of the ethanol industry aimed at promoting growth in the sugar and grain industry to provide clean, green power and cheaper fuel.
'We will protect Australian jobs and ensure the multinational mining companies source local jobs.'

We will not sell our profitable assets to Big business.

Mr Knuth said 'We will look after our farmers by preventing imported fruit and veges from swamping our supermarkets.'

'We will bring back hospital boards, protect landholders rights and restore personal freedoms,' Mr Knuth said.

'We are the only party prepared to take a tough stance and enforce a 12 month moratorium on coal seam gas development to protect our Great Artesian Basin and prime agricultural land.'

Mr Knuth said 'people are looking for change and want to see the Bligh Government gone but have no faith in the Liberal Party.'

‘With the groundswell of support we are seeing across the state, we are anticipating winning government and creating political history. We are a steam train going down hill - unstoppable.'

The Call For Help
By Goanna
So far the North has escaped flooding during this wet season, but the same can't be said for the people in the small towns down South. All the Branches of The Queensland Country Womens Association have been asked to accept money donations to go towards these unfortunate families.

The QCWA does not use any of the money to administrate these funds. All the work is done by members who are all volunteers. If there are fund raising events in your area please go along and give your support
